Fibatech started with three college students. Two of us were at UTD and one was at SMU. We spent our nights after class building computers for friends and local gamers. We loved it. But after a year of building top-tier systems, we hit a wall. We realized the industry has a massive problem. The market is flooded with pre-built PCs that look great in professional photos but are ticking time bombs on the inside.
We saw the same issues every single day. We saw unbranded power supplies that barely met the advertised wattage. These are the components that usually fail first and take the rest of the system with them. We saw "entry-level" GPUs that could not handle a modern title at 1080p without stuttering. We saw cable management that looked like a bird’s nest. This is not just an aesthetic issue. Poor cable management blocks airflow and leads to thermal throttling. We were tired of seeing people overpay for a machine that would start crashing the second a 90-day warranty ended.
The Decision to Change We decided to stop playing that game. We are not a factory. We are a small shop in Dallas that treats every build like it belongs to one of us. We realized that if we wanted to be proud of our name on the front of a case, we had to change our standards from the ground up.
The New Fibatech Standard We narrowed our focus to three core pillars. These are the things that big-box retailers ignore because they cut into profit margins.
-
Hand-Picked Hardware: We use high-quality components that we trust. Our Fibatech cases and fans are hardware we have personally tested for airflow and durability. We do not just look at the specs on paper. We look at how these parts hold up after months of heavy use. If we would not put a part in our personal rigs, we will not put it in yours.
-
The Stress Test: Most companies "test" a PC by turning it on to see if it reaches the desktop. That is not enough. Every Fibatech machine goes through a full day of brutal stress testing before it leaves our shop. We push the CPU and GPU to their limits to ensure the cooling system can handle the heat. We want components to fail on our workbench, not your desk.
-
A Real Warranty: A 90-day warranty is a sign that a company does not trust its own product. We moved to a 3-year warranty because we know our parts are solid. If you have an issue, you get a direct line to a human being. You will never have to explain your problem to a bot.
Maybe you are grinding late-night assignments at SMU. Maybe you are trying to hit 144 FPS in a competitive shooter. You should not have to be a hardware expert to get a good machine. You just need a builder who knows their stuff and refuses to cut corners to save five dollars on a cheap fan.
It is time to say goodbye to generic, green motherboard PCs that look like they belong in an office from 2005. It is time for a computer that works as hard as you do. We are ready to build the last PC you will ever need to buy.
Let's build something amazing together.
